I come to you to help you and your canine with basic obedience/manners, puppy training, barking, jumping, house breaking, loose leash walking, crate training and more. These are not your typical dog training classes but are based in your home, on your individual needs and on your schedule.
Having a well behaved canine family member is a win for all. With a little knowledge and clear expectations, harmony with your canine is within reach.
We offer FOUR types of training for you PLUS group agility classes.
One Time: this is a 90 minute behavioral consult done in your home. We will discuss and look at one or two problem behaviors and come up with a training program for you to follow to fix these issues. You will have the knowledge, tools and skills you need to train on your own. Pricing begins at $100 and is based distance from 08066.
3 in 30: this adds on two additional 45 minute follow-up sessions to your initial behavioral consult providing extra support as you work to fix problems; a total of three hours of training for you and your dog within a 30 day period. Pricing begins at $150.
Weekly Dog Walk: book a 30 minute weekly walk for your pooch the same day/time every week. We have openings on Tues, Wed or Thurs at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. $20 if you live within 10 miles of my home at West Deptford. $5 for an additional dog. Two dog limit. Minimum commitment is 6 weeks.
30 Minute Training Walk: I train your dog while you're at work. Sessions focus on loose leash walking and/or distraction training. $35 for 30 minutes. One dog per session. You must live within 10 miles. Minimum commitment is 4 weeks.
Agility Group Class: Held at Tail Waggin' Events in Robbinsville, NJ on Tuesday evenings. Fully fence outdoor field with lights. All levels. Contact me for more info. Private lessons available.
My name is Janet Weyers. I first stepped into the agility ring in May 1998 at a USDAA trial in Granby, MA. Since that time I have trained and competed in agility (USDAA, NADAC, DOCNA, AKC and UKI) as well as dock diving, obedience and flyball. Currently I am learning the correct way throw a disc so Tease can catch it properly.
Flying High Agility & Dog Training was born in 2003 in western Massachusetts and has followed me to South Jersey.
I became an agility judge to promote my love for the sport. Currently I judge for UKI.
"If playing/teaching agility is the best way to spend a day then judging it is the second best.”
After training and competing with my own dogs I was inspired to help humans and canines develop the best relationship possible. To date I have raised and trained 6 of my own dogs and worked with hundreds of teams on agility, tricks, obedience and behavior issues.
I have been a student of Speedoggie Agility Training since 2000 and currently teach group classes for them on Tuesday evenings.
In the real world I am a former development professional turned full-time dog trainer, grant writer and Lyft driver. During my free time I'm an avid agility competitor/judge, chuck-it player, dock diving toy thrower, frisbee player, hiker, human cookie dispenser and beach lover.
I currently reside in West Deptford, NJ with border collies Flicker and Tease and an occasional foster dog.
Drop us a line and let me know how I can help you and your canine companion.
I accept cash, checks, PayPal and Venmo.
