I come to you to help you and your reactive canine with basic obedience/manners, barking, jumping, housebreaking, loose leash walking, crate training, and more. These are not your typical dog training classes but are based in your home, on your needs and schedule. Having a well-behaved canine family member is a win for all. With a bit of knowledge and clear expectations, harmony with your canine is within reach. Don't make excuses for bad behavior based on breed or assumed history. I work with the dog and family where they are today and help them find the positive relationship they seek.
This program is designed for reactive dogs who cannot attend our group classes.
3 in 30 Program
Our 3 in 30 Program gives you three lessons in your home within 30 days. We typically have a 60-minute first visit, followed seven days later by a second 60-minute session, followed 14 days after for a final in-your-home session.
Behaviors may include counter surfing, loose leash walking, leash reactivity, jumping on people, barking, sit, down and stay, etc. We will discuss in advance what you really can accomplish in one month. Then, I’ll show you the steps you need to take to change your dog's behaviors.
You’ll have homework each week, and your efforts are supported with text, video, and email support - I want to know how you're doing throughout the month. I may recommend specific leashes, harnesses, or collars for the best results. Some of my favorites include a cotton 6’ leash, Halti/Gentle Leader, or easy walk harness, but I will discuss all options with you, determine the best tools to match you and your dog's abilities, and then show you how to use them.
These highly customized sessions are developed for you and your reactive dog. All family members must be available for each session. The 3 in 30 Program begins at $325 based on travel time and distance from Williamstown. Pricing for two dog visits starts at $425. Payments are accepted via Venmo, Cash, Check ($39 returned check fee), and PayPal. Full payment is due at your first session. Additional follow-up lessons may be booked as needed for an additional fee.
We also offer one-time in-your-home sessions for people outside our service area. These are typically 2 hours long and are available on a limited basis for people more than 30 minutes away.
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy on all sessions.
Cancellations without this notice period will be billed as quoted.
My name is Janet Weyers. I entered the agility ring in May 1998 at a USDAA trial in Granby, MA. Since then, I have trained and competed in agility (USDAA, NADAC, DOCNA, AKC, and UKI), dock diving, obedience, and flyball.
After training and competing with my dogs, I was inspired to help humans and canines develop the best relationship possible. Flying High Agility & Dog Training was born in 2003 in western Massachusetts and has followed me to South Jersey; I have been helping dogs and their people overcome problem behaviors ever since. I have raised and trained 8 of my personal dogs and worked with hundreds of teams on agility, tricks, obedience, and behavior issues. I also teach privates in dog agility & pet manners, specializing in reactive dogs.
I became an agility judge to promote my love for the sport. Currently, I judge for UKI. "If playing/teaching agility is the best way to spend a day, then judging it is the second best.” In the real world, I am an email marketing & social media consultant, dog trainer, and grant writer. During my free time, I'm an avid agility competitor/judge, chuck-it player, dock diving toy thrower, frisbee player, hiker, human cookie dispenser, and beach lover. I reside in Williamstown, NJ, with an Ewok named Teebo and a BC named Fly.
Drop us a line and let me know how I can help you and your canine companion.
I accept cash, checks, PayPal and Venmo.
